I said this in the introduction to this challenge / Journey, but it bears repeating:
Choose one thing from the list. You are welcome to do more if you like; but this is not intended to burden your time, and resources. Each week we will offer a new list of steps Do that which will benefit your household best. If you do anything at all, you will be better off for it. This journey is asynchronous so you can begin this journey anytime throughout the year. In fact I first invited people to join the journey mid February. I recommend starting at the beginning, No need to play catch up. You can start by checking out the “challenge” introduction or jump in at Week One
Happy prepping

Food*:
1 case canned black beans
And/Or
1 case favorite canned vegetables
And/Or
1 case canned meat. It can be more of what you have already acquired, or you can add variety.
Household:
boxes of each:
Gallon ziplock bags
Quart ziplock bags
Sandwich ziplock bags
72 hour kit:
Add family photos w/ name and address to each bag. Update as growth/physical changes occur. This is useful when family members become separated.
Emergency $
Add $9 to your emergency money ziplock bag (in each 72 hour kit if possible)
Family Prep:
Prepare a family meal plan that uses only canned or food storage items. Create a 7 day menu and make a shopping list for future use.
Water**
Collecting empty bottles for storage of non-potable water is a priority this week.
*Food is personal and people have different dietary needs/restrictions and tastes. As Always, You know your household’s needs best. Modify to meet your needs..
** It would be great if you can add drinking water to your supply each week.
